
ABOUT ME
I'm pleased to have received signatures for my campaign from all over Malden, a personal goal in my run for councillor-at-large, as my intention is to represent all of the citizens of Malden.
- Solomon Davidoff

Solomon Davidoff was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and moved to Massachusetts in 2001 after completing his graduate studies. He has lived in Malden with his family since 2007.
Solomon holds degrees in Broadcasting and American Culture Studies, as well as certifications in a number of areas including English, Journalism, and Ethnic Studies. With a diverse academic background, Solomon has spent his career developing and teaching courses in literature, history, social sciences, and more.
Teaching across sixteen disciplines, Solomon has worked as an educator at various universities, high schools, and middle schools in the Boston area. He has also served as a writer and editor for a number of academic journals, encyclopedias, edited collections, and other publications.
At the collegiate level, Solomon’s roles have included serving as Assistant Professor of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Management at the Wentworth Institute of Technology; Master Lecturer at Suffolk University; Assistant Professor at New England Institute of Art and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science; and a graduate instructor in Ethnic Studies and American Culture Studies at his alma mater, Bowling Green State University.
On the high school level, he was responsible for developing, designing, and teaching various English courses, including British Literature and a Senior Seminar in Popular Culture. He has also taught journalism and advised various extracurricular groups. Guest lectures and editorial work have taken Solomon around the country as he works for the communities that he so passionately supports.
He was recently elected President of Congregation Beth Israel of Malden, where he has served on the Board in various capacities since 2008.
